MATERIALS:
Chunky yarn, or 2 strands of worsted weight yarn
9 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Use any size yarn and any size hook desired.

1. Chain a foundation chain that is approx. 10 inches long.
2. Work any stitch you like to make a long scarf that measures approx. 4 - 5 feet long.
(This sample used double crochet stitches.)
3. Fold the scarf in half, and mark approx. 10 inches on each side of the fold.

Attach yarn at one end, and work the pattern you used for the scarf to work back and forth
to form a hood, until the hood is approx. 10 inches tall, fold in half, and slip stitch to close the
top seam of the hood.
Fasten off, weave yarn ends into the finished work.
