MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn
6.5 mm crochet hook,
Yarn needle

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Chain 19, triple crochet in the 4th stitch from the hook and each 
     stitch of the chain.
2.  Chain 3 and turn, triple crochet in the next stitch, *chain 1, skip 
      the next stitch, triple crochet in the next 2
stitches, repeat from * across, ending with a triple crochet in 
the turning chain.
3.  Chain 3 and turn, triple crochet in each stitch across the row, 
     including in the chain 1 space.
4.  Repeat step 2 and 3 until the scarf is as long as desired.

OPTIONAL: add fringe on both ends of the scarf.

FREE crochet pattern, Baby Booties

MATERIALS: 
Worsted weight yarn 

6 mm crochet hook, 

(5.5 for Newborn to 3 months) 

Yarn needle



INSTRUCTIONS:

1. This was originally a video only pattern, visit the demo above for a complete explanation. 

  Chain 30 for Newborn to 3 months, and 3 - 6 months

    Chain 34 for 6 - 12 months







2. Single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each stitch of the chain.


3. *Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the

 stitch only for the entire pattern, single crochet in each 

stitch across the row. Repeat from * for: 

Newborn to 3 mths: 5 rows, 

3 -6 mths: 6 rows, 

6 - 12 mths: 7 rows.




4. Slip stitch in the first: 
   New - 6 mths: 6 stitches,          6 - 12 mths: 8   stitches.

Single crochet across the row, leaving the same number of stitch un-worked at the end of the row.



5. *Chain 1 and turn, single crochet in each 

   stitch of the row of reduced stitches. 

  Repeat from * for

  New-3 mths: 1 row, 
  
   3 - 6 mths: 2 rows; 

   6 - 12 rows: 3 rows.


Fasten off with a 12 inch long yarn end, thread into a 

yarn needle, weave through the last row of stitches, 

pull tightly to gather up the toe end of the booties, take

 several stitches to secure, sew up the front of the 

bootie. Sew the heel end of the bootie. Pass 2 strands 

of yarn  through the ankle of the bootie, tie in front, or 

on the side.

Worsted weight yarn, worked 2 strands, (1 skein of Red Heart Super Saver, divided into 2 balls.
                   Roll off entire skein into 1 large ball, then roll a 
                   new ball until the 2 balls are of equal size.)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Working with 2 strands of yarn, 
    held as though they were 
    one, and a 9 mm hook:
    5 - 12 yrs: Chain 18;  
    12 - 16 yrs: Chain 22;   
    Adult: Chain  25.
2.  Single crochet in the 2nd stitch 
     from the hook, and each 
     stitch of the chain.

3.  Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the stitch 
    only, single crochet in each stitch across the row.

4.  Repeat step 3 until the work measures:
    Age 5 - 12: 20 inches;   age 12 - 16: 22 inches;   Adult: 24 
    inches.

5.  Fold the work to bring the foundation row and the last row 
    completed together, and slip stitch to form a tube.  Fasten 
    with an 18 inch long yarn end, 
    thread it into a yarn
needle, and weave through one 
open end of the tube. 
 Pull to gather up and close the 
top of the hat. Take several 
stitches to secure, and weave  
yarn ends into the finished work.

Large hook 9 mm or larger

INSTRUCTIONS:

Use nylon netting, cut into 3 inch strips, or purchase
3 inch wide rolls.
You will need approx. 20 yards for 1 scrubbie

It is a challenge to work up this scrubbie, however, It only has one row of double crochet, so that is a bonus.

1.  Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring.

2.  Chain 2, make 13 double crochet in the ring, or as many as 
     needed to form a flat circle.  (You may need more or less
dc, depending on the width of your mesh.  Fasten off, pull the  
end into a stitch.
