1. Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. Chain 2, make 12 double crochet
in the ring, slip stitch to join in the top of the 1st double crochet.
2. *Chain 12, single crochet in the next stitch, chain 6, single crochet in the next stitch,
repeat from * around, ending with chain 6, slip stitch to join in the base of the
first chain 12, fasten off.
Arrange snowflake on ironing board with straight pins, steam, allow to cool before removing pins.
You can stiffen the snowflakes with watered white glue,
clear nail polish, glitter nail polish,
or sugar stiffener.
(SUGAR STIFFENER: Bring to a boil equal amounts of sugar and water, remove from heat, cool, saturate snowflake in solution. Squeeze out excess liquid. Arrange as desired on waxed paper. Allow to dry undisturbed.)
