My focus in designing is to produce a pattern in the most simple manner, so please don't be disappointed at how easy my patterns are.
1. 5-12 yrs: cast on 40 stitches,
2. 5-12 yrs: cast on 44 stitches,
3. Adult: cast on 48 stitches.
4. *K2, p2, repeat across the row.
5. Repeat step 2 for:
5-12 yrs: 30 rows
12-16 yrs: 34 rows
Adult: 38 rows,
Cut yarn approx. 24 inches long and thread into a yarn needle.
Transfer the stitches from the knitting needle onto the yarn needle by slipping them off.
Pull to gather and close the top of the hat. (photo 2)
Sew the back seam of the hat
Weave yarn ends into the finished work.
