This is such an easy stitch with a one row repeat!! Great for baby blankets, scarves, pillows, washcloths, or afghans.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn approx. 650 yds
6 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
BERNAT PREMIUM YARN (affiliate link)
INSTRUCTIONS:

1. For a 36 inch wide blanket: chain 121,
2. Double crochet in the 4th stitch from the hook, and in the next 5
stitches.
*Skip the next 2 stitches, double crochet in the next 5 stitches.
In the next stitch, make a V stitch: double crochet, chain 1, double
crochet.
Double crochet in the next 5 stitches.
Repeat from * across the row, ending with a V stitch in the last
stitch.
3. Chain 3 and turn, double crochet in the chain 1 space of the V
stitch.
Double crochet in the next 5 stitches.
*Skip the next 2 stitches, double crochet in the next 5 stitches.
Work a V stitch in the chain 1 space (dc, ch1, dc)
Double crochet in the next 5 stitches.
Repeat from * across the row, ending with a V stitch in the last
stitch.
4. Repeat step 3 until the work is the desired size, fasten off, weave
yarn ends into the finished work.
