MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn, worked 2 strands
6mm knitting needles
Yarn needle
2 small black beads for eyes, 1 pink bead for nose (or stitch eyes and nose with yarn)
Blush for the cheeks (optional)

1. Works bottom up. Begin with cream color yarn.
Cast on 4 stitches with 6 mm needles and 2 strands of ww yarn.
2. Knit 2 stitches in each stitch across the row. (8)
3. Knit across the row for 2 rows.
4. Change to flesh color yarn, work in stockinette stitch
for 4 rows beginning with a purl row.
5. Hat: Change to white yarn, (or any color), knit across the
row for 4 rows.
6. Knit 2 stitches together, knit 4 stitches, knit 2 stitches together. (6)
7. Knit across the row for 3 rows.
8. Repeat step 6 and 7. (4)
9. Knit 2 stitches together. (2)
10. Knit 2 stitches together and cast off. Tie the yarn ends
into a knot to form a hanger.
Weave yarn ends into the finished work.
11. Wrap yarn around one finger 5 times, (see photo below), tie
into a bundle, pull the yarn ends to the back on
each side of the face, and tie into a knot.
12. Sew beads for eyes and nose. Apply blush to the cheeks.
IF DESIRED, KNIT ANOTHER SECTION ALL IN CREAM, AND SEW ALL AROUND THE EDGES.
