MATERIALS:
HOMESPUN THICK AND QUICK (25 yards)
6.5 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Stuffing: cotton balls, fiberfil, paper towels, or facial tissues
Optional: beads
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring.
2. Chain 2, make 7 double crochet in the ring. (8)
3. Chain 2, *2 double crochet in the next stitch,
dc in the next stitch,
repeat from * around, slip stitch to join. (12)
4. Chain 1 and turn, single crochet in the same stitch,
*triple crochet in the next stitch (yarn around the hook
2 times), single crochet in the next stitch, repeat from *
around, slip stitch to join. (12)
5. Chain 2 and turn, double crochet in each stitch around, slip
stitch to join. (12)
6. Chain 2 and turn, double crochet around,
skipping every 3rd stitch, slip stitch to join. (8)
7. Stuff the cavity, thread the yarn end into a needle,
weave through the last row of stitches, pull to close
the hole. Weave yarn ends into the finished work.
