MATERIALS:

Bulky yarn

(Any size chunky yarn will work, or 2 strands of ww yarn)

8 mm knitting needles

Yarn needle

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. How to cast on:

5-12 yrs: Cast on 8 stitches

12-16 yrs: Cast on 10 stitches

Adult: Cast on 12 stitches

2. Knit every row until the rectangle measures:

5-12 yrs: 20 inches

12-16 yrs: 21 inches

Adult: 22 inches

3. Cast off with a long yarn end, thread it into a needle, twist the

rectangle one time, then sew into a tube.

Weave yarn ends into the finished work.
