Knitting Pattern for Men: Knit Purl Hat and Scarf Set, 5 yrs to adult

New pattern up!
Knitting for men!

If you can Knit and Purl, you can make this very easy set!
Work it using 2 strands of worsted weight yarn,or some chunky or bulky yarn,
and large 9 mm knitting needles!
Beginners could probably make this set, it's not difficult, just requires paying attention
to the sequence which is repeated every row.

You can find this pattern here:

But you don't need to purchase it, here are the very easy instructions:

HAT AND SCARF ARE BOTH WORKED FOLLOWING THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  With 2 strands of ww yarn, or 1 strand of chunky or bulky yarn, cast on 22 stitches.
2.  Work the following pattern every row, (I find I need to repeat the sequence in sections to not get lost)
K, P, K, P
K,K,K,K,K
K, P, K P
K, K, K, K, K

3.  For the scarf: when it is long enough: 52 to 60 inches, work the final row, casting off each stitch after it
is worked. Weave yarn ends into the finished work.

For the Hat: when the work is the following measurements:
 5-12 yrs: 20 inches; 12-16: 22 inches; Adult: 24 inches;
work the final row, casting off each stitch after it is worked.  Leave a long yarn end,
thread it into a yarn needle, pass through the long side of the work passing through every 4th stitch,
pull to gather up and close the top of the hat, take several stitches to secure, then sew the
back seam of the hat. How to sew a seam in knitting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5UXKaYctAg
