MATERIALS:

Lion brand Homespun thick and quick

https://amzn.to/31MZtsY 

(OR 3 STRANDS OF WW YARN)

12 mm crochet hook

Yarn needle

 

INSTRUCTIONS: 1.5 stitches = 1 inch

Use any size yarn and any size hook for this shawl

 

1.  Work a foundation chain that is as long as you wish the shawl to be.

 

2.  Single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each stitch of the chain.


 

3.  *Chain 2 and turn, 

working in the back side of the stitch only,

single crochet in each stitch across the row.  

Repeat from * until the shawl is as long as desired, (60-70 inches)

 


 

Fasten off.  Fold the ends to form points, 

sew the center seam.

 

Optional: Add a tassel to each end.

 

Weave all yarn ends into the finished work.
