MATERIALS:
100% COTTON WORSTED YARN
5 mm (us 8) knitting needles
Yarn needle
Wooden ball or styrofoam ball for the head.
Pipe cleaner for the halo
Hot glue gun and glue stick, or white glue.
1/4 inch ribbon for a bow at the neck. (20 inch length)
1 inch (approx.) for the wings. (12 inch length)
Ornament hanger, Sharpie marker

KNIT ANGEL # 2:

1. Cast on 16 stitches.
2. Knit every row for 22 rows, cast off, block to form into a square.
Fold the square as shown, and attach the
sides together in the center to form the front of the cloak.
Make the head.
Shown are a wooden ball,
and a styrofoam ball with a toothpick inserted into it, painted with pink
acrylic paint. Features were added with a sharpie marker.
Wind a gold pipe cleaner into a circle for the halo. If the ball has a hole, insert the ends of the pipe cleaner into the hole; if not, glue the halo on the top of the head.
Insert the head into the top of the cloak, and adhere it with
white glue or a hot glue gun and glue stick.
Glue a small ribbon bow at the neck.
WINGS:
form a bow with ribbon,
and attach to the back of the angel. (Glue or sew.)
Attach an ornament hanger.
