INSTRUCTIONS: worked flat.

1.   Cream color yarn:

 5-12 yrs: cast on 18 stitches with 

                    2 strands of ww yarn and 7 mm  needles.

    12-16 yrs: cast on 22 stitches with 

                      2 strands of ww yarn and 7 mm needles.

    Adult: cast on 24 -26 stitches with 

                      2 strands of ww yarn and 7 mm needles.

 

2.  Work in ribbing (k1p1) for 2 rows.

3.  Work in stockinette stitch for 2 rows.

4.  Green yarn: work in ribbing (k1p1) for 4 rows.

5.  One green yarn plus one cream yarn: knit every row for 4 rows.

6.  Repeat step 4.

7.  Repeat step 5.

8.  Cream yarn: work in ribbing until the gloves are the desired 

     length.

Cast off.

9.  Fold the work in half, sew the side seam leaving an opening

 for the thumb.  

    Weave yarn ends into the finished work.
