2 strands Red Heart Super Saver (OR 1 STRAND OF CHUNKY YARN)
2-5 yrs:
ww yarn:60 yds main color;
60 yds black,
24 yds cream color
7 mm needles
Yarn needle
INSTRUCTIONS: Gauge: 2 stitches and 3 rows = 1 sq. inch

Black yarn: Cast on 32 stitches.
Knit every row for 5 rows. (No purl rows.)

Cream yarn: Ribbing for 2 rows. (Optional: Cast off for short
slippers)
Knit across the row, working 2 stitches in every
4th stitch. (20)
Knit across the row for 3 rows.
*Knit 3 stitches, knit 2 together, repeat from * across
the row. (16)
Main Color: Ribbing for 4 rows.
Black yarn: Knit across the row, working 2 stitches in every
4th stitch. (20)
Knit across the row for 4 rows.
*Knit 3 stitches, knit 2 together, repeat from * across
the row. (16)
Main Color: Ribbing for 3 rows, casting off each stitch loosely
after it is worked in the last row.
Fold in half, sew across the bottom of the sole, and up the back.
