Worsted weight yarn, Red Heart Super Saver, worked 2 strands, approx. 40 yards
9 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
INSTRUCTIONS: Gauge: 2 sc and 2 rows = 1 sq. inch

1. Adult: chain 40; 12-16 yrs: chain 36; 5-12 yrs: chain 32, slip stitch to join.
2. Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch of the chain, slip stitch to join.
3. *Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the stitch only, single crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to join.Repeat from* for 2 more rows.
4. Turn, slip stitch in each stitch around, (to keep the edge firm and prevent it from flaring out.)
Slip stitch to join, fasten off, weave yarn ends into the finished work.
