MATERIALS:

100% WW COTTON YARN

4.5 MM CROCHET HOOK

YARN NEEDLE

1 cotton ball for stuffing

INSTRUCTIONS:

My focus in designing is to produce a pattern in the simplist manner, so please don't be disappointed at how easy my patterns are.

1.  Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. Carry the yarn end along the outside of the

ring.

2.  Chain 1, work 8 single crochet in the ring, slip stitch to join in the 1st sc. Fasten off.

3.  Pull new yarn through any stitch, chain 1, work 2 sc in each stitch around,

Slip stitch to join in the first sc.  Fasten off. Pull the yarn end to close the hole.

4.  Pull new yarn through any stitch, chain 1, *2 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next stitch,

Repeat from* around, slip stitch to join in the first sc. (24)

5.  Chain 1, 1 sc in each stitch around, slip stitch to join.

6.  Chain 1, single crochet decrease around (12), slip stitch to join.

7.  Chain 1, single crochet decrease around, (6), slip stitch to join, fasten off.

Fill the cavity with a cotton ball, thread the yarn end into a needle, weave through the

last row of stitches, pull to gather and close the bottom of the button.  Use the yarn

end to sew the buttons onto your project.
