This pattern uses the same stitch pattern as Pattern #2473K, Baby Dress
MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn, (Barnat Premium), approx. 50 yds (or 2 strands dk: 100 yds)
6mm knitting needles
Yarn needle
Anti SNORE Device
INSTRUCTIONS:
My main focus with designing is to produce a pattern that requires the least amount of instructions, for ease of construction.You can find ALL my patterns on Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/designers/emi-harrington Including over 380 FREE patterns.
1. Cast on:
New-3 months: 50 stitches;
3-6months: 54 stitches;
6-12 months: 60 stitches
2. *Work across the row: k 1, p1. Repeat from * for 1 more row.
3. Knit across the row for 2 rows.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 for:
new-3 mths: 4 more times;
3-6 mths: 5more times;
6-12 mths: 6 more times
Cast off with an 18 inch long yarn, thread it into a yarn needle, weave through the cast off row of stitches, passing through approx. every 4th stitch, pull to gather up and close the top of the hat, sew the back seam of the hat.
